The 44-inch imagePROGRAF W8200Pg large format printer combines
the speed and quality already associated with the imagePROGRAF
name, with our own pigment (Pg) inks. Canon's original technology
Pg inks deliver brilliant and color fast prints that exceeds all
expectations. The imagePROGRAF W8200Pg utilizes Canon's revolutionary
1-inch wide print head with 7,680 nozzles for unmatched print speeds.
Quality is controlled by Canon's Micro Fine Droplet Technology
that ensures crisp, clear, high quality output.
- Pigment Ink—Canon
has developed a super fine pigment particle with extra polymer
coating. The extremely small pigment particles allow the
W8200Pg to achieve a high quality image output. Canon adds
extra polymer compound to its photo inks to protect the particle
from fading under light. The result is extremely durable
photo color ink with museum level quality.
- Wide Head Technology—Canon’s
1-inch wide print head with 7,680 nozzles permits the W8200Pg

conventional print heads without sacrificing quality.

- MicroFine Droplet Technology—Canon’s
print head contains a powerful, high-precision dot placement
ink-firing mechanism. With a heater mounted at the end of
each nozzle the print head generates a bubble that fires
ink straight down. This enables the ink to be laid down in
precise dot placement and uniform dot shape at extremely
high speeds.
- 8 Picoliter dot size—The
ability to print with this small of a dot size allows for
a print to have smoother gradations, especially when printing
skin tones.
- Large Volume Ink Tanks—High
